1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HSK Hanzi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and AiFarm ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

HSK Hanzi is a Chinese language learning application that provides character and vocabulary study tools, spaced repetition scheduling, stroke order practice, listening exercises, and other educational features. The App supports preparation for the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) standardized proficiency test.

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using phone number verification or Apple Sign-In (iOS only). You agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscriptions and Payment

HSK Hanzi offers auto-renewing subscriptions to unlock premium features:

• A free access period is included after registration, with no payment required
• On iOS, subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. On Android, subscriptions are billed through your Google Play account.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• On iOS, manage subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. On Android, manage subscriptions in Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions.

Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region. Price changes do not affect active subscription periods.

5. Refunds

All subscription payments are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). We do not have the ability to process refunds directly. On iOS, submit refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, request refunds through the Google Play Store or at Google Play Help. See our Refund Policy for detailed instructions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use HSK Hanzi for personal, non-commercial language learning. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated tools to extract content or data from the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or access controls
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

7. Content and Accuracy

HSK Hanzi provides Chinese language learning content including characters, vocabulary, pinyin, translations, and stroke order information. While we strive for accuracy, all content is provided for educational purposes and we do not guarantee that it is error-free. HSK Hanzi is not affiliated with or endorsed by the official HSK examination authority (Hanban / Chinese Testing International).

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and other materials in HSK Hanzi are owned by AiFarm or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for language learning purposes.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Core study features are designed to work offline once content has been downloaded to your device.

10. Limitation of Liability

HSK Hanzi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to exam results, learning outcomes, or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon account deletion, your learning data will be permanently removed from our servers. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in New York.
